It was a long and eventful Thursday for me. I worked late last night and I only got to sleep at 3am and I was up at 7am so that I could leave the house with my dad and get my friend’s birthday preset. Why I left this for the last minute, only God knows. All I know right now is I almost didn’t write this post because I am so tired. My legs are hurting. My body is tired but I promised to post the #shoeseries posts every Thursday so here I am delivering despite spending most of my day walking around getting my friend’s dinner party ready and wearing heels most of the evening into the night. You must know, I love y’all that much 🙂
In today’s post I will be touching base on the 3 common types of heels.
These might be the most known heels in the universe. They are the highest type of heel out here with a height of up to 8 inches. Definitely not suitable for the office but the leg elongation is great for the chick like me, who seeks a little bit of height.
These are the most comfortable pair of heels anyone can ever find. The platform sole reduces the height difference between the heel of your foot and your toes making them super comfortable and easy to walk in. If you value comfort, wedge is the way to go. I love these in summer.
My fellow African girls, these are pumps also known as simply high heels. What we have been calling pumps are called ballet flats LMAO. Pumps are usually between 2 and 3 inches in height and they are typically low cut around the front. They are also the most appropriate to wear to the office, serving class.
If any of these heels are your type let me know in the comments. I always love to hear from you guys. If not, we still have more shoe styles to come.
My eyes are half closed now LOL. I am so sorry, I feel like I rushed through this post 😦 I will explain myself tomorrow on Instagram. Off to bed now. Goodnight loves!
Out of curiosity, have any of you ever suffered from sleep deprivation for the sake of your friends?
